NAMED GENERAL COUNSEL AND

 VICE PRESIDENT OF LEGAL AFFAIRS

 

OAKLAND, NEW JERSEY – (September 18, 2006) - Compensation Solutions, one of the tri-state area’s leading Professional Employer Organizations, today announced the promotion of Steven Politis to the position of General Counsel and Vice President of Legal Affairs.  Mr. Politis brings a broad range of experience in areas faced by both businesses and individuals in the employment industry, including labor and management issues, regulatory compliance, human resources, risk management, arbitration, mediation and litigation. He sits on the Legal Advisory Council (LAC) of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO). This advisory group consists of in-house attorneys or outside counsel for PEOs. Members are selected for their expertise and experience in the industry and are appointed by the President to one-year terms. The LAC serves as a resource for the Board of Directors of NAPEO and provides advice to the board as it considers policies and positions.  Thomas J. Mr. Politis received his Juris Doctoris from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law. He is admitted to the practice of law in the state courts of New Jersey, New York, District of Columbia and Minnesota, as well as the United States District Court of New Jersey and the United States Eastern District Court of New York. He is a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
